Terms of Service

1. Who the Service Is For

• The Service is designed for parents or legal guardians supporting children preparing for the UK 11+ exams.
• Accounts must be created and managed only by a parent or guardian.
• Children may use the Service only under parental supervision.
• The minimum age for student use is 8 years.

2. Accounts

Account creation

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login details.
• You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.

One student per account

• Each account is intended for use by one student only.
• Sharing accounts across multiple students is not permitted.

3. Use of the Service

You agree to use the Service:

• For personal, educational purposes only
• In a lawful and respectful manner
• Without attempting to misuse, copy, or interfere with the platform

You must not:

• Share your account with others
• Attempt to reverse engineer or scrape content
• Use the Service for commercial purposes
• Upload or distribute harmful, offensive, or unlawful content

4. Educational Content Disclaimer

• The Service provides practice questions and progress insights designed to support learning.
• We do not guarantee:
  • Admission to any school
  • Exam results or scores
• Progress indicators and mastery levels are guidance tools, not predictions.

5. Payments and Access

Payment processing

• Payments are processed securely via GoCardless.
• We do not store bank or card details.

Access duration

• Access to purchased question sets or plans is granted for the period stated at purchase.
• Access begins once payment is confirmed.

Refunds

• Due to the digital nature of the Service, refunds are generally not offered once access has been granted.
• If you believe a payment has been made in error, please contact us at support@11plusprogress.co.uk.

5a. Free Trial and Billing

7-day free trial

• The Monthly subscription includes a 7-day free trial period.
• During the trial, you have access to 7 curated question sets with unlimited attempts.
• No payment is taken during the 7-day trial period.
• To start the trial, you must set up a GoCardless Direct Debit mandate. This helps prevent trial abuse and keeps pricing fair.

Trial conversion

• If you do not cancel before the end of the 7-day trial, your subscription will automatically convert to a paid Monthly subscription at £9.99 per month.
• The first charge will occur on day 7 after trial start.
• You can cancel your subscription at any time from your Account settings.

Cancellation

• You may cancel your trial or subscription at any time from your Account → Plan page.
• Cancellation takes effect immediately. You will retain access until the end of your current billing period.
• If you cancel during the trial period, no charge will be made.

Direct Debit

• Payments are processed via GoCardless Direct Debit.
• You can manage your Direct Debit mandate through your GoCardless account or by contacting us.
• If a payment fails, we will attempt to collect it again. Access may be suspended until payment is successful.

6. Intellectual Property

• All questions, content, designs, and software are owned by 11plusprogress.
• You may not copy, redistribute, or resell any part of the Service.
• You may print or download content only for personal educational use.

7. Account Suspension or Termination

We may suspend or terminate access if:

• These Terms are breached
• The Service is misused
• There is suspected fraud or abuse

You may request account deletion at any time by contacting support@11plusprogress.co.uk.

8. Data and Privacy

• Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy.
• By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of data as described there.

9. Availability and Changes

• We aim to keep the Service available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted access.
• Features and content may be updated or modified to improve the Service.
• We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use means acceptance of the updated Terms.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law:

• We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses
• We are not responsible for exam outcomes or educational decisions made based on the Service
• Our total liability will not exceed the amount paid for the Service during the preceding 12 months

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
